Editorial: Mining for Gold, by Lisa Mitten. Social Sciences Editor Lisa Mitten describes the various channels by which books reach Choice.

    Exercise Science: Integrating Body and Mind, by Rachel A. Erb, systems librarian at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. rerb@unomaha.edu.

Erb explores literature that reveals the scientific knowledge about exercise gained since the early nineteenth century. Her essay is divided into four main sections, each of which evaluates the best books and Web sites that may prove useful in teaching exercise science: Introductory Works, Biomechanics, Training and Adaptation, and Psychology.

    Forthcoming Political Science & Economics Publications, 2009-2010. This feature highlights forthcoming titles scheduled for publication from the late summer of 2009 through 2010. Each of the titles on the list was suggested by the publisher and then selected by Choice for its relevance to undergraduate curricula.
